ABOUT ME

Madhavi Bhaskar was born on 29th July 1969 in New Delhi. At an early age she found out that she was interested in painting and sketching. Madhavi was very observant and preferred realistic art work with intricate details inspired by real life experiences and visual encounters, over fiction and this could be seen in her work from an early age. She polished her finer skills, growing up under the wings of artists like Indu Mukherjee and Montu Da .

Madhavi graduated in Commercial Art from Delhi University. Besides this she is a Kathak dancer and a Pranic healer and a Rekie master.

In 2021, she participated in multiple exhibitions like: ‘Colors of Independence celebrating 75th anniversary of independence’ organized by Bombay Art Society, National online exhibitions organized by Artist Bid. She was also invited to judge art events for college festivals like ZENITH by Podar college, Mumbai.
